SATs Comprehension Practice Papers: Dinosaur Discovery

Between the ages of 9 and 12, children complete Standardised Assessment Tests (SATs). To help them prepare, this booklet provides realistic comprehension practice based on the KS2 Reading Assessment sample papers.

Each booklet includes:

• Three texts to read
• Three sets of comprehension questions to answer

The Standards and Testing Agency advises that pupils have 1 hour to complete the test, working through one text and its questions before moving on to the next. While timing is recommended, it’s your choice — the more practice children do, the quicker and more confident they will become.

This booklet is 31 pages long and designed to support children as they get ready for their SATs.
