Refund policy

Refund Policy

Last updated: 25 September 2026

Resources Today sells digital educational resources delivered electronically. Because our products are digital and can normally be accessed immediately after purchase, different cancellation and refund rules apply compared with physical products.

This policy explains when refunds may and may not be available.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

1. Digital Products

All products sold through Resources Today are digital unless explicitly stated otherwise on the relevant product page.

Products may include:

  • predicted papers;
  • mark schemes;
  • revision guides;
  • case studies;
  • model answers;
  • examiner guidance;
  • revision bundles; and
  • other downloadable educational resources.

No physical products are supplied.

2. Change-of-Mind Refunds

When purchasing digital content for immediate delivery, you may be asked to:

  • expressly agree to the digital content being supplied immediately; and
  • acknowledge that you will lose your statutory right to cancel once supply of the digital content begins.

Where you have provided this agreement and acknowledgement, your right to cancel ends once the digital content has been supplied or made available for download.

For this reason, once a digital product has been supplied, we do not normally provide refunds because you:

  • changed your mind;
  • no longer want or need the resource;
  • purchased the wrong product;
  • selected the wrong subject, exam board, paper, specification or examination year;
  • did not use the resource;
  • found another resource elsewhere;
  • later purchased a bundle containing the same resource; or
  • expected different examination content.

This does not affect your statutory rights where digital content is faulty, materially not as described or otherwise fails to meet applicable legal requirements.

3. Faulty or Incorrect Digital Content

We take reasonable steps to ensure that Resources Today materials are supplied correctly and correspond with their product descriptions.

If you believe a product you purchased:

  • cannot reasonably be opened or accessed;
  • is materially incomplete;
  • is materially different from its description;
  • contains a significant technical fault;
  • is missing a file that should have been included; or
  • otherwise does not meet the standards required by applicable consumer law,

please contact us.

Where appropriate, we may first attempt to resolve the issue by:

  • replacing the affected file;
  • providing the correct file;
  • correcting the resource;
  • providing an updated version; or
  • restoring access to your purchase.

Where the issue cannot be resolved within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund in accordance with applicable law.

4. Errors and Corrections

Our resources are reviewed and quality-checked before release. However, educational materials may occasionally contain typographical errors, formatting issues, minor inaccuracies or areas requiring clarification.

A minor error that does not materially affect the overall use or value of the resource will not normally entitle a customer to a full refund.

Where an issue can reasonably be corrected, we may provide an updated or corrected version of the resource.

This does not affect your statutory rights where a product materially fails to conform to the contract.

5. Predicted Papers

Predicted papers are revision and examination-practice resources.

They are not official examination papers and Resources Today does not guarantee that any particular question, topic, theme or area of content will appear in the real examination.

The fact that the actual examination contains different questions or topics from those included in a predicted paper does not mean that the predicted paper is faulty or entitle the customer to a refund.

Resources Today also does not guarantee that using a particular resource will result in:

  • a particular examination question appearing;
  • a particular grade;
  • admission to a university or course; or
  • any other specific academic outcome.

Our predicted papers are designed to provide realistic examination practice, not to predict examination content with certainty.

6. Exam Board, Subject and Specification

Customers should carefully check the product description before purchasing to ensure they are selecting the correct:

  • subject;
  • examination board;
  • qualification;
  • specification;
  • paper;
  • examination year; and
  • resource.

This information is displayed on our product pages wherever relevant.

Where the correct digital product has been supplied as described, purchasing the wrong subject, exam board, specification, examination year or paper will not normally qualify for a refund once digital supply has begun.

If you realise immediately after purchasing that you have made a genuine mistake, you may contact us and we will consider whether we can assist.

7. Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase exactly the same product more than once, please contact us with the relevant order numbers.

Where we can verify that an identical product was genuinely purchased twice by mistake, we may refund the duplicate transaction.

This does not automatically apply where:

  • you purchase an individual resource and later purchase a bundle containing it;
  • different versions or examination years are purchased;
  • separate products cover similar content; or
  • the purchases were intentionally made.
  • 8. Bundles

Some Resources Today products contain multiple digital resources sold together as a bundle.

Customers should review the contents of a bundle before purchasing.

Once a bundle has been digitally supplied following the required consent and acknowledgement, change-of-mind refunds will not normally be available.

If one component of a bundle is faulty or materially not as described, we will normally attempt to correct or replace the affected component.

Any refund or price reduction required by law may relate only to the affected content rather than the entire bundle where appropriate.

9. Individual Products Later Included in a Bundle

Some products sold individually may also appear within larger revision bundles.

Purchasing an individual resource and later choosing to purchase a bundle containing the same resource does not automatically make the original purchase refundable.

We therefore recommend checking the contents of bundles carefully before purchasing.

Genuine accidental duplicate transactions may still be considered under Section 7 of this policy.

10. Pre-Orders and Future Releases

Resources Today may occasionally sell resources before their final release.

Where a product is a pre-order or includes content scheduled for future release, this will normally be stated on the product page.

If digital supply has not yet begun, you may retain any cancellation rights available to you under applicable law.

Once the relevant digital content is supplied following the required agreement and acknowledgement, the digital cancellation provisions described in this policy will apply.

If Resources Today is unable to provide a paid pre-order product, an appropriate refund will be issued.

11. Resources Released in Stages

Some larger products or bundles may contain content released progressively.

Where this is clearly stated before purchase, receiving some components before others does not mean that the order is incomplete.

Refunds will not normally be available merely because a future component has not yet been released where its expected later availability was made clear at the time of purchase.

If we permanently fail to provide a component that formed part of your purchase, please contact us.

12. Problems Receiving Your Download

Digital products are normally delivered immediately or shortly after successful payment.

If you have paid for a product but cannot access it, please first check:

  • your email inbox;
  • your spam or junk folder;
  • the email address entered at checkout; and
  • your order confirmation or download page.

If you still cannot access your files, please contact us.

We will make reasonable efforts to restore access, resend the files or provide a replacement download link.

A temporary delivery or download problem does not automatically entitle a customer to a refund where the purchased content can be successfully supplied within a reasonable time.

13. Incorrect Email Address

Customers are responsible for entering the correct email address during checkout.

If you entered an incorrect email address, contact us with your order details.

Where we can verify the transaction, we will make reasonable efforts to provide access to the correct email address.

Providing an incorrect email address does not itself make an otherwise correctly supplied product eligible for a refund.

14. Free Resources

No monetary refund is available for resources obtained free of charge because no purchase price was paid.

15. Discounted Products

Products purchased using a discount code, promotional offer or sale price retain the same applicable statutory rights as products purchased at full price.

However, you are not entitled to a refund simply because:

  • a product is later discounted;
  • a larger discount becomes available;
  • a promotion begins after your purchase; or
  • the product is subsequently included within a bundle or special offer.

16. Third-Party Purchases

Resources Today products may also be sold through third-party marketplaces or platforms.

If you purchased a Resources Today resource through another platform rather than directly through resourcestoday.com, refund requests may need to be made through the platform where the transaction took place.

The platform's own procedures and applicable terms may apply.

Please check your original order confirmation to determine where your purchase was made.

17. Refund Processing

Where a refund is due, it will be processed without undue delay and within any timeframe required by applicable law.

Refunds will normally be issued using the original method of payment unless otherwise agreed.

Once we have processed a refund, the time taken for the money to appear in your account may depend on your bank or payment provider.

No fee will be charged by Resources Today for a refund that you are legally entitled to receive.

18. Refund Abuse and Fraud

Resources Today reserves the right to investigate refund requests where there is reasonable evidence of fraud or misuse.

Examples may include attempts to:

  • obtain a refund after intentionally downloading and retaining resources while falsely claiming they were not received;
  • repeatedly purchase, download and refund digital products;
  • redistribute or resell Resources Today materials and subsequently request a refund;
  • make fraudulent payment disputes; or
  • otherwise abuse the refund process.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory consumer rights.

19. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you experience a problem with your order, we encourage you to contact us before starting a chargeback or payment dispute.

Many problems involving missing downloads, incorrect email addresses, duplicate purchases or technical issues can be resolved quickly.

Nothing in this section prevents you from exercising any rights available through your bank, card issuer, payment provider or applicable law.

20. Intellectual Property Following a Refund

Where a digital product is refunded and access to that product is withdrawn, any licence to use the refunded product may also end where legally permitted.

A refunded product must not subsequently be reproduced, redistributed, uploaded, shared, resold or otherwise used contrary to our Terms and Conditions or intellectual property rights.

21. Proof of Purchase

When contacting us about a refund, we may ask for information reasonably necessary to identify your order, including:

  • your order number;
  • your name;
  • your email address;
  • the date of purchase; or
  • other relevant transaction information.

This information helps us verify the purchase and investigate your request.

22. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace rights that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

UK consumers may have rights under legislation including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

Where digital content does not conform to the contract, statutory remedies may include repair or replacement and, in qualifying circumstances, an appropriate price reduction or refund.

Where this policy conflicts with a mandatory statutory right, the statutory right will apply.

23. Changes to This Policy

Resources Today may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our products, delivery systems, business practices or legal requirements.

The current version will be published on our website with the date of the latest revision.

24. Contact Us

If you believe there is a problem with a product you purchased or that you are entitled to a refund, please contact Resources Today through the contact information provided on our website.

Please include your order number and a brief description of the issue wherever possible.
